I also love to capture poses the parents didn't think of but once they have them they cherish them forever.  Like this one where the newborn baby is all tucked in bed dreaming away in a cozy, comfy blanket.  I love to use props like this hat that the mother bought for the baby's older sister.  We put it to good use as a sleeping cap.
