There's no doubt about it. I'm a dog lover. I might even be addicted to puppies. I never 'pictured' myself being one 11 years ago when my 3 kids begged and begged for a pet. Afterall, don't all kids beg their parents for a pet? To avoid all the "I wanna dog mommy, pleeeaaasseee pleeeaassseee pleeeaasseee?????" pleading we started out buying a rabbit. Then a hamster. Those small caged (yes, ugh) furry animals was a stop-gap measure that didn't work. I caved in. Even though I knew I'd be the main caregiver, I could not avoid three sets of those big pleading eyes.
Turns out, I am a dog lover. I'm allergic to cats - at least I used to be when I was little. I'd get big welts, watery eyes and sneeze. But I may have grown out of it. Anyway, I now own two big dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Black Lab. We got the Black Labrador when he was 9 years old. His previous owner sadly passed away from cancer. He did not have any family nearby so we adopted Rally. Even though he licks and licks, we love him through and through.
So now whenever I see that a friend got a puppy I have to come over and take photos. I LOVE PUPPIES.

And what about my two dogs? Well here they are. Meet Koa our Golden Retriever, and Rally, our adopted Black Lab.

Koa is famous! This photo I took of her and posted of Flickr shows her taking care of two bunnies we found in our yard. They loved cuddling next to her warm honches.
And here's our Rally. He's now almost 12 years old. He's sitting at attention waiting for me to feed him. He's very food motivated. That's an understatement.
