This year I have had the huge pleasure of photographing some amazing events.  They range from taking photos of Silicon Valley legends including John Doerr and Brook Byers to CEOs and entrepreneurs.  But perhaps the most important events I photograph are children's milestones.  Children are the most important people I photograph especially when they are crossing a major milestone.  

This year I have had the opportunity to photograph these amazing milestones.  It's always such an honor and privilege to be behind the lens at these events.

• On the eighth day of a newborn baby boy, the Jewish tradition is to perform a Bris.  It was an honor to be asked to photograph this event for a young family.  I've been photographing their major milestones ever since.
• Last year I started working with my first set of twins.  It has been tremendous fun working with this young family who I started photographing when the mom was eight months pregnant!
• Not only did I start working with a set of twins, but I also had the opportunity to photograph their Annaprashan event, which is a Sanskrit term for the baby's first rice feeding.  It was such a beautiful and colorful party.
• Children's birthdays, no matter what age, are such a joy to photograph.  This year I seem to be photographing a lot of 3-year old birthday parties.  3 is such a great age.  For the most part they are potty trained, they can communicate quite clearly, and they are often eager to help.  And the biggest deal is they are past the "Terrible Two's" - so it's a grand time
• First Communions are such a privilege to photograph.  It is such a major religious rite of passage with beautiful details.  For the past 3-years I have photographed this important milestone.
